DIPP N°16 – Gel mains hydroalcoolique

The DIPP N°16 is a hydroalcoholic gel for hand disinfection without water, rinsing or wiping. Designed for environments with demanding hygiene standards, it is suitable for use in food service professions, hospitality and catering, as well as in the medical sector, community facilities, the food industry or offices and administrations.

Technical characteristics

  • Alcohol content: over 70%
  • Neutral pH: 7
  • No water, no rinsing, no wiping needed
  • Gentle on skin, no risk of allergy
  • Available in 500 ML, 1 L and 5 L
  • 500 ML packaging with pump dispenser
  • Box of 6x500ml pump bottles
  • Compliant with HACCP protocol for the food chain

Application tips

The gel is applied directly to clean, dry hands, with no prior preparation needed. A small amount of product is usually enough to cover the entire surface of the hands, including between the fingers and around the nails.

Rub hands together until fully air-dried — no rinsing or wiping step is required. The pump format (500 ML) allows for quick, consistent dosing, particularly suited to high-traffic workstations such as checkouts, changing rooms or production areas.

For larger volume needs, the 1 L and 5 L packagings allow refilling of wall-mounted dispensers or larger containers in kitchens, workshops or communal areas.

Pro tips

On job sites or in workshops, opt for the 500 ML pump format for individual workstations: it prevents waste and ensures consistent dosing, unlike bottles without a dispensing system where too much or too little tends to be poured. Reserve the 5 L containers for refilling fixed dispensers in communal areas or shared kitchens.

An often overlooked point: even though the product requires no wiping, the gel must be left to fully air-dry before resuming manual activity — handling surfaces or food too soon reduces disinfection effectiveness and may transfer alcohol onto sensitive materials.
