NBS Standard Foam Gun
Apply single-component PU foam with precise dosing via the adjustment screw. The PTFE adapter prevents foam from sticking after use.
Polyurethane (PU) foams are one-component foams that cure on contact with ambient moisture. They are used to fill, seal and insulate joints and voids in buildings: around window and door frames, at duct and pipe penetrations, and at junctions between masonry and joinery. As they expand, they fill irregular cavities and provide thermal and acoustic insulation as well as an airtight joint. This range includes gun-grade versions with CFC-free propellant, a foam designed for fitting and construction work, and the matching applicator gun. It is aimed at building professionals and homeowners renovating their homes alike. Start by choosing according to the job: a standard foam is enough for sealing and insulating joints, while a construction-grade foam is better suited to fixing and fitting elements such as window frames or door frames. For a clean finish, go for the gun-grade version with an applicator gun: the flow can be precisely controlled, the can can be reused from one day to the next and you waste less product than with a straw-applicator aerosol. Lightly moisten the surface before application, since curing depends on moisture. Only partially fill the joint, as the foam keeps expanding. Wait until it has fully cured before trimming off the excess with a utility knife, then protect the foam from UV with filler, paint or a finishing coat.
