Safety shoes
Our safety shoes have the look of a sneaker, light and flexible, while delivering the protection required on site: protective toe cap, puncture-resistant sole and energy-absorbing heel. They are designed for painters, paperhangers, moulding installers and anyone who spends the day on their feet between the ladder, the scaffolding and the van. DIYers tackling a major renovation will also appreciate their comfort when handling tools, buckets or materials. The range includes unisex models as well as models designed for women's feet, slimmer and better fitting. To make the right choice, start with your working environment. An S1PL model is ideal for dry indoor jobs such as painting, wallpapering or finishing work. Go for an S3L model as soon as you are exposed to moisture, outdoors or on waterlogged ground, which happens quickly in the Belgian climate. In both cases, the PL or L marking indicates a non-metallic puncture-resistant sole, more flexible and lighter than a steel plate. Try your shoes on at the end of the day, wearing your work socks, and make sure your toes don't touch the toe cap: a size that's too tight soon takes its toll after a few hours kneeling or up a ladder.
