Pro tips
For your interior painting and renovation projects in dry environments, the CRAFT S1PL offers excellent protection-to-weight ratio. Its antistatic certification is particularly valued in work within sensitive environments. However, note that this S1P standard does not include water resistance, so avoid using it on outdoor sites or in the presence of liquids. For these situations, we recommend upgrading to an S3 standard. Remember that protection against wide-point perforation (indicated by L) meets the updated requirements of the EN ISO 20345 standard.
FAQ
What is the difference between S1P and S3 for my projects?
The S1P standard, like this CRAFT safety shoe, is suitable for dry environments only. It offers a safety cap, anti-perforation sole and antistatic properties. The S3 standard adds water resistance and is therefore suitable for outdoor or damp work sites. For interior painting work, S1P is more than sufficient.
What does the L in S1PL mean?
The L indicates protection against wide-point perforation, according to the recent update of the EN ISO 20345 standard. This specification helps to better identify the type of protection offered by the shoe's anti-perforation sole.
How do I know if my size is correct?
Measure both feet according to the method indicated and refer to the size chart. Your toes should not touch the shoe's tip, and your heel must remain well supported without slipping. A space of 5 to 10 mm in front of the longest toe is ideal for comfort throughout a full working day.
Are these shoes equally suitable for men and women?
Yes, the CRAFT S1PL is a unisex shoe designed to adapt to both female and male foot morphology. Available sizes range from 35 to 47, covering all professional needs.
Can I use these shoes for outdoor painting work?
No, the S1P standard does not offer water resistance. For outdoor work or in the presence of moisture, choose safety shoes certified S2 or S3 that guarantee protection against water penetration.
