Echelle télescopique pliable en aluminium Hailo Flexline

The Hailo Flexline aluminium telescopic ladder covers work at height without taking up space in your vehicle or workshop. It extends to the height you need, closes with one hand and stores in a small space. It is equally suited to the professional painter on site and to the home owner renovating a ceiling or a stairwell.

Technical features

  • Material: aluminium, for a lightweight construction. The 9-rung version (2.6 m) weighs 8.1 kg.
  • Three versions: 9 rungs (2.6 m / 3.4 m), 11 rungs (3.2 m / 4 m) and 13 rungs (3.8 m / 4.5 m).
  • Maximum load: 150 kg.
  • Standard: EN 131-6, which applies to telescopic ladders.
  • One-hand closing with anti-pinch system.
  • Visual locking indicator for each section, so you can check at a glance that the ladder is properly locked.
  • Bevelled, non-slip feet for ground contact.
  • Carrying strap supplied for easy transport.

Application tips

Before climbing, choose the right spot: a level, stable and clean floor, clear of slippery dust sheets, rubble or leftover filler. Extend the ladder section by section and check the locking indicator on each section before the first climb.

Choose the version according to the height you need to reach and allow some margin, so that you are not working at the very top of the ladder. For a living room ceiling or a staircase, the 9-rung version is the easiest to handle. The 11- and 13-rung versions are better suited to façades, high stairwells and gable walls.

When moving the ladder, close it completely and fasten the carrying strap. If the ladder has been splashed with paint or plaster, wipe it off before storing it, so that the sections slide smoothly the next time you use it.

Pro tips

The most common pitfall with a telescopic ladder is climbing without having checked each section. On site, sanding dust and paint drips build up in the guides, and a section can look locked without actually being so. Get into the habit of checking the locking indicator on each section, from bottom to top, every time you extend the ladder, even if you have just used it.

When choosing the version, think about your actual working height and not just the ladder's maximum height. A version longer than necessary can still be used in an intermediate position, whereas a version that is too short forces you to work at its limit. For mixed use (ceilings, stairwell, outdoors), pros often go for the next size up.

FAQ

Quelle charge maximale supporte l'échelle Hailo Flexline ?
