Adblue avec bec verseur

AdBlue Forever with pouring spout is a high-purity aqueous urea solution at 32.5%, designed for diesel vehicles equipped with SCR technology (Selective Catalytic Reduction). This 10-litre canister with integrated pouring spout allows precise, spill-free filling of your AdBlue tank, whilst effectively reducing nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in compliance with Euro 6 standards. Compatible with all diesel SCR vehicles – cars, vans, trucks, buses, agricultural and industrial equipment – this solution ensures clean combustion and permanently protects your exhaust systems.

Technical Specifications

  • Aqueous urea solution 32.5% compliant with ISO 22241 standard

  • Density at 20°C: 1.0870 to 1.0930 g/cm³
  • 10-litre canister with integrated pouring spout for clean, drip-free filling
  • Ultra-pure formulation: biuret ≤ 0.3%, aldehydes ≤ 5 mg/kg, insoluble matter ≤ 20 mg/kg
  • Compatible with all SCR systems meeting Euro 6 standards
  • Reduces NOx emissions by converting them to water vapour and harmless nitrogen
  • Protects SCR catalysts and extends their service life

Application Advice

The pouring spout enables precise pouring directly into your vehicle's AdBlue tank, preventing splashes and ensuring clean handling. Always close the canister securely after use to preserve the solution's quality. Consult your vehicle's manual for AdBlue tank capacity and recommended refill intervals.

Store AdBlue in its original canister in a clean, dry location at a temperature between -5°C and +30°C. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight and extreme temperatures. Only use approved containers for AdBlue storage and transfer. The solution presents no particular risk when used according to the manufacturer's recommendations and for the intended application.

Pro tips

For tradespeople with a fleet of work vehicles, always keep a 10-litre jerrycan in your van. The pouring spout makes refilling on-site much easier without spillage risk. Remember to rinse the spout after use and store it in its box to prevent urea crystallisation which could block the system. Since AdBlue has a distinctive odour, the drip-free pouring spout ensures a clean fill that prevents unpleasant smells inside the cab and stubborn stains on work clothes.

FAQ

What is the difference between AdBlue and diesel fuel?

AdBlue is not a fuel but an emissions control additive. It is poured into a separate tank, distinct from the diesel tank. The urea solution is injected into the exhaust system where it converts nitrogen oxides into water vapour and nitrogen. Never pour AdBlue into the fuel tank.

How long can I drive after the AdBlue warning light comes on?

When the AdBlue warning light appears on your dashboard, you generally have about 2400 km before the engine shuts down automatically. It is recommended to top up quickly to avoid vehicle immobilisation. AdBlue tanks typically hold between 8 and 25 litres depending on the model.

Does the pouring spout fit all jerrycans?

The supplied pouring spout screws onto standard 5-litre and 10-litre jerrycans. It is equipped with a drip-free system that allows clean pouring even when tilted. After use, rinse and store it in its box to prevent crystallisation.

What should I do if I spill AdBlue on my vehicle?

If you spill AdBlue on the bodywork, plastic parts or carpeting, clean immediately with a microfibre cloth and water. AdBlue crystallises as it dries and can leave stubborn white marks. It also produces an unpleasant odour. The drip-free pouring spout supplied significantly reduces this risk.

Does my vehicle need AdBlue?

AdBlue is required for diesel vehicles equipped with an SCR system and meeting Euro 4, Euro 5 and Euro 6 standards. If your vehicle has an AdBlue fill cap (often blue) beside the fuel cap and a dedicated warning light on the dashboard, you must use AdBlue.
