The Orac Decor D210 corner block simplifies the installation of door architraves by eliminating mitre cuts, which are often tricky and prone to errors. This decorative block from the LUXXUS collection is fitted at the upper corners of the frame and connects directly to the straight mouldings, for a clean and professional result, whether in renovation or new construction.

Application tips

Before installation, check that the surface (wall or architrave) is clean, dry and free of dust or greasy residue. Lightly sanding the surface improves adhesive grip on smooth or painted surfaces.

Apply a bead of suitable adhesive (type FDP500) to the back of the D210 block, following the recommended diameter of 6 mm, then position it firmly against the corner of the architrave. Temporary support (adhesive tape or a light clamp) helps ensure optimal contact while the adhesive sets.

Once in place, the joints between the block and the straight mouldings can be filled with a compatible filler or filling paste, then lightly sanded before painting for an invisible finish.
