Pro tips
Professional painters will appreciate having several DEFEND protective sheets in their van for quick protection of sensitive areas during client site visits. Consider combining this protection with quality professional masking tape to keep the sheet in place, especially on stairs where there is frequent foot traffic. For renovation projects in Belgium where moisture may be present, verify that the surface is dry before laying the sheet to ensure optimal tape adhesion and prevent any slipping.
FAQ
Can the PrimaCover DEFEND sheet be reused after a first project?
Yes, if the sheet has not been damaged and remains relatively clean, you can reuse it for other light work. For optimal protection on each project, however, we recommend using a sheet in good condition.
Is this size suitable for staircase protection?
The 80x120 cm format is perfectly suited to protect stair treads and landings. Its size effectively covers 3 to 4 steps depending on their width, whilst making handling easier in confined spaces.
Does the sheet slip easily on wooden or tiled flooring?
Like any flexible protection, the sheet can slip on smooth surfaces. We recommend securing the edges with masking tape to prevent movement, particularly in areas of frequent foot traffic.
What is the difference from a standard plastic sheet?
PrimaCover DEFEND is specifically designed for painting projects with reinforced construction and studied flexibility. It offers superior durability compared to generic sheets and adapts better to work surfaces.
