Expert'Liss is a ready-to-use airless filler plaster designed for treating plaster and plasterboard substrates indoors. Its highly filling formulation and white matte finish ensure perfectly smooth surfaces, whether applied manually or mechanised. Odour-free, it meets the demands of both professional tradespeople and discerning homeowners seeking a high-performance, user-friendly product.

  • Ready-to-use airless filler plaster in 25 kg bucket
  • Manual or mechanised application (airless)
  • White matte and smooth finish
  • Highly filling for effective treatment of irregularities
  • Excellent slip reducing physical effort during application
  • Long working time enabling comfortable work on large surfaces
  • Very fine grain size for meticulous finish

Application Guidelines

Prepare your substrate by ensuring it is clean, dry and dust-free. Expert'Liss can be applied directly without additional preparation thanks to its ready-to-use formulation. For mechanised application, set your airless spray according to the manufacturer's instructions. The product's long working time gives you ample time to work the material comfortably.

With manual application, benefit from Expert'Liss's excellent slip, which reduces fatigue—particularly valued on large-scale projects. The fine grain size delivers an impeccably smooth result. Apply in successive coats according to desired filling level, respecting drying times between coats.

This product comes in a 25 kg bucket, so plan for appropriate handling. For any questions regarding delivery of this heavy product, contact Pygmalion directly for a personalised quote that takes your logistical requirements into account.

Pro tips

At Pygmalion, we recommend thoroughly stirring the filler before use to ensure homogeneous consistency. If working with Airless, check your machine pressure and adjust the nozzle according to your desired finish: a finer nozzle for pure smoothing, a larger nozzle for rapid filling. Remember that drying time varies significantly depending on ambient humidity, particularly in Belgium where climatic conditions can be changeable. Always plan adequate ventilation to optimise drying and facilitate final sanding.

FAQ

Can Expert'Liss be applied with a knife or only with an Airless machine?

Expert'Liss can be applied with a knife for manual smoothing or scraping work, although it is specially formulated for Airless application. Both techniques are compatible according to your needs and equipment.

What substrates can I use this filler on?

Expert'Liss is applied to plaster, plasterboard and concrete. It is also suitable for covering all types of existing fillers and paints, after adequate substrate preparation.

What is the maximum thickness I can apply in one coat?

The recommended maximum thickness is 4 mm per coat. Beyond this, it is preferable to apply a second coat after complete drying of the first to avoid excessive shrinkage.

How long should I wait before sanding?

Complete drying takes 12 to 24 hours depending on the thickness applied, ambient temperature, humidity and room ventilation. Wait for full drying before sanding or covering.

How do I clean my Airless equipment after use?

Cleaning is simply done with water. Rinse your pump, hoses and nozzles thoroughly immediately after use to prevent the filler from hardening in the circuit.
