Manchon façade Ø30 110 mm + monture

The FACADE Ø30 110 mm roller is specially designed for work at height and difficult-to-reach areas on exterior facades. With its compact 30 mm diameter and 18 mm woven polyamide sleeve, it reaches corners, frames and small irregular surfaces that standard rollers cannot treat effectively. Pole-mountable thanks to its hollow handle, it attaches to a pole for safe working from ground level.

Technical specifications

  • 18 mm woven polyamide sleeve, 30 mm diameter
  • 29 cm frame for excellent manoeuvrability
  • Ergonomic bi-material hollow handle, pole-mountable
  • 6 mm white galvanised rod for optimal resistance
  • Compatible with all facade paints: acrylics, pliolites, thin coatings
  • High resistance to aggressive products and abrasive surfaces

Application tips

Before use, ensure the surface is clean, dry and free from loose material by scraping and brushing. For pliolite paints and thin coatings, load the roller moderately and discharge excess on a test area before application. Work in small sections using cross strokes, overlapping each pass by approximately one third of the roller width.

The compact format of this roller makes it particularly suitable for window frames, base courses, mouldings and other architectural details. For work at height, screw a pole into the hollow handle and maintain steady pressure to avoid drips. Clean the sleeve immediately after use with water for water-based paints.

Pro tips

The classic mistake with this type of compact roller is overloading it with paint, especially with pliolites which have a particular viscosity. Professionals know you need to squeeze out more than with a standard roller: the small diameter holds less product, but the 18 mm pile absorbs a lot. Systematically discharge excess on a grid or on the application area itself before tackling visible surfaces.

Another tip for irregular facades: use this roller in combination with a standard 180 mm model. First treat large surfaces with the large roller, then immediately go over corners and recesses with the Ø30 whilst the paint is still wet. This avoids visible touch-ups and guarantees a homogeneous film, essential for the waterproofing of thin coatings compliant with DTU 59.1 standards.

FAQ
