LEIFHEIT COMBI CLEAN M SET
Clean all your floors without bending or getting your hands wet thanks to the standing wringing system. The articulated handle reaches easily under furniture and into corners.
Dissolves resins, adhesives and paints; cleans brushes and degreases metal, wood or glass. Rapid evaporation so you can resume work immediately.
Estimated delivery: 24-48h
Preparation :
• Work in a well-ventilated area to prevent inhalation of fumes.
• Wear resistant gloves and optionally safety glasses.
• Keep away from all heat sources and flames, as acetone is highly flammable.
Application :
For cleaning surfaces :
• Pour a small amount of acetone onto a clean, lint-free cloth.
• Wipe the surface with regular movements.
For dissolving paint or residue :
• Apply directly to the affected area with a brush or cloth.
• Leave for a few seconds, then wipe away.
For degreasing :
• Soak a cloth in acetone and wipe over greasy areas for quick and effective cleaning.
Finishing :
• Rinse the surface with clean water if necessary, especially for surfaces in contact with food.
• Allow to dry completely before continuing work.
Precautions :
• Store in a cool, dry place, away from heat sources and out of reach of children.
• Do not use on sensitive plastic or painted surfaces without first testing on a small, inconspicuous area.
Disposal :
• Place used cloths in a metal container to prevent spontaneous combustion risks.
• Follow local regulations for disposal of used solvents.
Warning : Always read the product label before use.

On site, use acetone sparingly: its rapid evaporation at 56°C means a small amount is sufficient for effective tool cleaning. For brushes, first clean with acetone followed by rinsing with soapy water to prolong their lifespan. Seal the container hermetically immediately after use to minimise vapours and preserve the product.
For degreasing metal surfaces before applying two-part or epoxy paints, acetone ensures optimal adhesion. However, its flash point of 17°C demands extreme caution in summer or near electrical equipment. Keep an appropriate Class B fire extinguisher near your work area.
Acetone does dissolve nail varnish, but may damage finishes on certain furniture, particularly varnish, lacquer or plastic. Always test on a hidden area first. For delicate surfaces, choose an acetone-free remover instead.
Acetone is highly flammable with a flash point of 17°C. Soaked rags can ignite spontaneously through oxidation, especially if crumpled or stacked. A sealed metal container limits oxygen supply and prevents fire risk.
Acetone is more powerful and evaporates much faster than white spirit. It works excellently for acrylic, gloss and certain varnishes, but requires greater precautions due to its flammability and irritating vapours. Ensure good ventilation in your work area.
Acetone is classified as hazardous waste and must never be poured down drains or thrown in ordinary bins. Take it to a recycling centre with a solvent collection zone, or contact an approved chemical waste collector. Store in the original clearly labelled container.
Always wear gloves resistant to organic solvents (nitrile or neoprene), safety glasses against splashes, and work in a well-ventilated space. Acetone causes severe eye irritation and may cause drowsiness or dizziness. A cartridge mask for organic vapours is recommended for prolonged use.
