MAT PU-A A TEINTER

MAT PU-A is a water-based matt PU acrylic lacquer designed for finishing woodwork, doors, furniture and other interior elements. It delivers a matt finish that resists scratches and skin grease, with good colour retention and gloss stability. It is sold tintable, in 750 ml, 1 L, 2.5 L and 10 L sizes, suitable for anything from a small piece of furniture to a full-scale project.

Application tips

MAT PU-A is used as a topcoat on pretreated wood. It is also suitable for pretreated plastic or metal substrates, for interior use only. The substrate must be sound, clean, dry, dust-free and degreased before any application.

The lacquer is applied by brush and flows out perfectly. Aim for the recommended wet film thickness of 67 µm to achieve the 25 µm dry film specified by the manufacturer. Observe the 6-hour interval at 20 °C before recoating.

The coverage of 14 to 16 m²/L is a theoretical value. In practice, it depends on the nature and structure of the substrate as well as the application method. Allow for a margin of product, especially on absorbent or textured surfaces.
