The Mirka® DEOS II 383CV is a rectangular electric orbital sander specially designed for automotive body work and repair tasks. With its sanding pad of 70 x 198 mm and eccentricity of 3.0 mm, it is the reference tool for sanding body fillers and primers. The brushless electric motor delivers 20% more power than the previous generation whilst maintaining a low noise level for optimal working comfort over extended periods.

Application Advice

This sander is particularly suited to automotive body work and repair operations. Its rectangular 70 x 198 mm format enables efficient coverage of flat surfaces while maintaining access to tight areas. The 3.0 mm eccentricity provides an ideal balance between material removal rate and finish quality for fillers and primers.

For work in corners, position the sanding interface slightly offset from the sanding pad to protect it and access edges as closely as possible. Speed adjustment via lever with LED indicators allows quick adaptation of rotation speed according to material type and sanding stage. Use low speeds for delicate finishing and high speeds for rough material removal.

Connect the sander to a centralised dust extraction system to ensure a dust-free working environment and extend abrasive lifespan. The integrated vibration sensor and Bluetooth® connectivity enable vibration exposure monitoring via the myMirka® app, ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards.
