Rubio® Monocoat Oil Plus 2C Kit A+B is a two-component finishing oil designed for professionals and demanding DIY enthusiasts who want to nourish, protect and enhance interior wood in a single application. Thanks to its solvent-free linseed oil-based formula, it preserves the natural look of the wood while offering long-lasting protection against water and heat, ideal for parquet floors, staircases and furniture subject to daily use.

Application tips

Before application, the surface must be sanded, clean, dry and free from grease or residues of previous finishes. Progressive sanding down to a fine grit ensures even penetration of the oil and a uniform result, particularly on open-grained wood species.

Components A and B must be mixed just before application, following the proportions indicated on the packaging, as the product is designed for single-coat application. The oil is generally applied using a white pad or a soft-bristle brush, taking care to spread the product evenly and then remove the excess after a few minutes to avoid any sticky effect or uneven sheen.

Allowing sufficient drying time before returning the surface to use lets the protective film fully stabilise, ensuring the water and heat resistance stated by the manufacturer.
