Although this filler is specifically formulated for mechanical airless application, it is perfectly possible to apply it manually with a trowel or filling knife. Airless application remains the most efficient way to fully exploit its filling and smoothing qualities on large surfaces.
What types of substrates can I use this filler on?
SEMIN 2 in 1 G&L is ideal for smoothing plaster, plasterboard and gypsum boards. It can also be applied to concrete, precast elements and painted substrates, provided these are clean, dry and properly prepared.
How long must I wait before sanding or painting?
The drying time of SEMIN 2 in 1 G&L varies from 6 to 12 hours depending on the thickness applied, temperature and ambient humidity. Wait for complete drying before sanding or applying your finish coat.
What nozzles should I use for my airless application?
For smoothing, choose a 631 nozzle. For filling or depending on your machine's power, select nozzles between 635 and 651. Make sure you use an airless pump equipped with a stainless steel ball to guarantee uniform application.
