PRESTONETT R LIGHT: FILLER - 3 KG
Fills cracks and holes in walls and ceilings in a single application, regardless of depth. Hardens without shrinkage or lumps for a white, paint-ready finish.
Strengthen your renders on cracks and joints: this 165 g/m² mesh prevents cracking and guarantees a smooth, durable finish.
Estimated delivery: 24-48h
The fibreglass reinforcement mesh 165 g/m² is essential for strengthening your rendering work. Sturdy and easy to apply, this 100 cm x 50 m roll provides excellent mechanical strength and reduces the risk of cracking.

On site, unroll the mesh gradually as you progress to prevent creases and deformations. For external corners and stress zones (lintels, window sills), double the mesh by crossing two strips at 45°. Always work on fresh mortar: your mortar's open time determines the area you can reinforce in one pass. A 50 m roll allows you to optimise supplies on large renovation or external insulation sites, typical in Belgium.
The 165 g/m² weight offers superior mechanical strength, recommended for exterior facades, external thermal insulation systems and substrates under significant stress. For light interior work, a lower weight may be sufficient, but the 165 g/m² guarantees maximum safety against cracking.
Yes, its alkali-resistance makes it compatible with all facade renders, mortars, plasters and external insulation render systems. The 4x4 mm mesh size ensures optimal adhesion regardless of your render granulometry.
Each roll covers 50 m². Allow 10 to 15 % extra surface for overlaps between strips (minimum 10 cm) and cutting. For a 100 m² facade, allow for 2 to 3 rolls depending on the layout.
The mesh is always applied in fresh render. First apply a base coat of render, embed the mesh into it by rolling it down, then cover with a second coat to bed it completely. Never apply the mesh dry to the substrate.
