Technical specifications

  • Set of 8 tools: 7 flexible jointing knives in 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 cm + 1 multi-purpose knife
  • Tempered stainless steel blades, polished for reduced compound adhesion
  • Bi-material ergonomic handles with balanced design, reducing fatigue
  • Curved blades facilitating jointing in fresh compound on ceiling or wall
  • 90° edges for corner treatment
  • Through-going aluminium striking tip
  • Storage bag with velcro closure for site transport
  • Optimal blade flexibility guaranteeing precision and adaptation to all surfaces

Application advice

Select the knife according to the joint width to be treated: small widths (2 to 6 cm) are suitable for finishing and touch-ups, medium widths (8 to 10 cm) for intermediate coats, and large widths (12 to 15 cm) for base coats and extended surfaces. The curved blade allows working in fresh compound without marking the finish.

Take advantage of the polished blade finish to quickly clean your tools between coats: compound adheres less and is easily removed. The through-going aluminium striking tip allows you to adjust plasterboards directly with the handle, without changing tools.

After use, rinse each knife with clean water before the compound fully dries. Store the complete set in the velcro bag to protect the blades and facilitate transport. Blade flexibility is preserved long-term with regular maintenance and flat storage.

FAQ

Is this set suitable for intensive professional use?

Yes, the patented Alu-Choc design and quality materials guarantee excellent durability for daily professional use. The hardened stainless steel blades and through-going aluminium ferrules ensure optimal longevity, even on demanding job sites.

What blade widths are included in the set?

The set contains 7 filling knives of 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 15 cm, plus 1 multi-purpose drywall knife. This complete range covers all needs, from corner finishing to large surfaces.

Why do the blades have a polished gloss finish?

The polished gloss finish reduces the adhesion of filler to the blade, making work and cleaning after use easier. This characteristic improves ease of use and productivity on site.

Are the handles designed to reduce fatigue?

Yes, the bi-material handles are specifically designed with an ergonomic and balanced shape to combat wrist fatigue during prolonged use. This advantage is particularly appreciated on large plastering projects.

Can the ferrule be used for striking?

Yes, the through-going aluminium ferrule is designed to allow light striking tasks, such as adjusting boards, without damaging the handle. This versatility prevents having to constantly change tools on site.
