UNISOFT A TEINTER

Unisoft tintable is a pure 100% acrylic wall paint with a velvet finish. It delivers a durable, decorative finish on walls and ceilings, including in damp areas. It can be used indoors and outdoors. Its high hiding power and scrub resistance make it a versatile benchmark for professional job sites as well as for renovations by demanding homeowners.

Technical characteristics

  • Type: 100% acrylic wall paint
  • Finish: velvet
  • Scrub resistance: Class 1 (DIN EN 13300)
  • Hiding power: high
  • Intended substrates: walls and ceilings
  • Environments: damp areas, indoors and outdoors
  • Version: tintable
  • Pack sizes: 1 L, 4 L and 10 L

Application tips

Start by preparing the substrate. It must be clean, sound, dry and free of dust. Fill and sand any imperfections before painting: the velvet finish does not completely hide them, especially in raking light. On new, porous or very uneven substrates, plan for a suitable primer.

Apply with a roller on large surfaces, using a brush for corners and edges. Cross-roll, then smooth off in a single direction for a uniform finish. Work on whole wall sections without interruption to avoid visible lap marks.

For dilution, coverage and drying or recoating times, refer to the SPS manufacturer's technical data sheet. Values depend on the substrate and on site conditions (temperature, humidity).

Pro tips

With a tintable base, the main risk is a color difference between two cans. Estimate the total quantity needed for the entire room and have the whole volume tinted at once. If you have to use several cans, mix them together in a larger bucket before starting on the wall. Keep a well-sealed can with a little paint left for touch-ups.

Velvet highlights flatness defects, especially facing a window. Take the time to apply filler and sand finely, then check the substrate with a raking light before the first coat. This check is what saves you from having to redo an entire wall.

FAQ
