WET-STICK
The WET-STICK is a revolutionary self-adhesive corner reinforcement that simplifies the finishing of 90° external corners. Thanks to its water-activated adhesive applied to the inside of the flanges, it bonds directly to plasterboard without the need for joint compound or mechanical fixings. Its small heel profile guarantees a perfectly straight corner and facilitates finishing with a single smoothing coat.

Application Tips
Begin by bending the reinforcement at your desired corner so it fits perfectly into your 90° angle. Then generously spray water onto the inside of the flanges with a spray bottle. Wait 45 seconds to allow the adhesive to fully activate.
Position the reinforcement on the external corner with firm, even pressure to ensure optimal adhesion. Once in place, reapply pressure along the entire length. The small ribbed heel profile then facilitates finishing: a single coat of joint compound is sufficient for a flawless corner, ready for painting or wallpapering.

For optimal adhesive activation, use a pump spray bottle rather than an electric sprayer: you have better control over the amount of water applied. Excess water can soften the paper and complicate installation. On site, always keep the WET-STICK in its packaging until the moment of use to prevent premature glue activation due to ambient humidity. For angles that deviate slightly from 90°, adjust the fold before activation: once the glue is moistened, you have limited room for adjustment.
Pygmalion tip: in humid rooms or on sites where humidity levels are high, prepare your lengths in advance and store them in a sheltered location. Water-activated adhesive remains sensitive until the adhesive is completely dry. For large heights, work with two people: one operator positions the top whilst the other aligns and presses the bottom section.
