Application advice

Before first use, you must rinse your new sleeve in warm water whilst rubbing it to remove loose fibres. This step prevents hairs from sticking to your surface during application. Just before starting, purge the roller of any residue on a piece of plasterboard.

The 80 mm format is particularly suitable for filling between tapered edges during the first coat. The 180 mm, 220 mm and 250 mm formats are ideal for large wall and ceiling surfaces. The superior load capacity of the Roll'Enduit reduces the number of reloads needed, speeding up work rate.

The anti-spatter technology allows you to maintain a steady pace without soiling the site or requiring excessive protection of adjacent areas. Application remains easy and finishing is done without ridges, guaranteeing a homogeneous finish across the entire treated surface.

Pro tips

At Pygmalion, our partner craftsmen prefer Roll'Enduit for its ability to maintain constant thickness, essential for perfectly flat surfaces. A practical tip: start with the 80 mm size for joint tapes and corners, then switch to 180 mm or 220 mm for standard surfaces. The high resilience of the fibre allows you to work longer without sleeve deformation, even on thick coatings. For cleaning, rinse thoroughly with clean water immediately after use: the polyamide fibre regains its full flexibility for a long service life. A well-maintained sleeve retains its performance across many projects.

FAQ

Which Roll'Enduit sleeve width should I choose for my project?

The 80 mm size is ideal for corners and precise application of joint tapes. The 180 mm suits the second coat and medium surfaces, whilst 220 mm and 250 mm are recommended for large wall and ceiling areas, offering better productivity.

Does this sleeve work with all types of plaster coatings?

Yes, Roll'Enduit is compatible with all plaster coatings on the market: ready-to-use paste, Airless machine coatings, roller-applied coatings and fast-drying powder coatings. It is moreover recommended by the leading plaster coating brands.

How do I clean the Roll'Enduit sleeve effectively?

Cleaning Roll'Enduit is straightforward: rinse thoroughly with clean water immediately after use. The high-resilience polyamide fibre restores its shape and flexibility, ensuring a long service life of the sleeve across many projects.

How does this sleeve truly save time?

Roll'Enduit cuts application time by three to one thanks to three advantages: it holds 20% to 50% more coating than standard sleeves, self-reloads on excess, and delivers uniform application that simplifies smoothing without drips or touch-ups.
