Pro tips
For interior painting projects, the 5-step version offers the best compromise between working height and manoeuvrability in confined spaces. Use the bucket holder for your paint pot and the storage compartment for your brushes: you save valuable time on ceiling finishes and high-reaching wall work. Regularly clean the aluminium steps of paint splatters to maintain optimal grip. The lightweight design at just 6.2 kg makes it easy to move from room to room, a major advantage during renovation projects with multiple areas to cover.
FAQ
Which version of Double Decker should I choose for my work?
The 5-step version achieves a working height of 3 metres, matching the standard height of Belgian ceilings. For greater heights, opt for the 6-, 7- or 8-step versions. The 3- and 4-step versions are more suitable for mid-height work or in very confined spaces.
Is the stepladder stable enough for daily professional use?
Yes, with its floor footprint of 99 cm × 52 cm and a spreader safety strap, the Double Decker offers stability suited to professional use. The fixed handrail provides a secure point of support. Its aluminium construction guarantees strength and durability despite its light weight of just 6.2 kg.
How does the integrated storage system work?
The stepladder features a storage compartment 14 cm deep for storing small tools and accessories. The integrated bucket holder keeps your paint container or water bucket within arm's reach, avoiding repeated descents and improving your on-site efficiency.
What is the footprint for transport and storage?
When folded, the Double Decker measures 186 cm in height, 52 cm in width and just 14 cm in depth. These compact dimensions allow vertical storage against a workshop wall or easy fitting into a utility van alongside your other equipment.
