The Variovlies V180 is a pre-coated non-woven lining paper designed for wall design and renovation, both in new builds and refurbishment. Its smooth, homogeneous surface offers a substantial, stable support that is directly ready for painting, making it a solution of choice for masking minor imperfections while saving time on site.

Application tips

The substrate must be clean, dry and free of dust or residues of old wallpaper. On a new or highly absorbent wall, a suitable primer coat makes application easier and evens out absorption. The Variovlies V180 is applied using the wall-pasting technique: the adhesive is applied directly to the wall, not to the strip, before unrolling and smoothing the dry strip into place.

The strips are laid edge to edge, without overlapping, to ensure invisible joints once painted. A smoothing tool or plastic spatula helps push out air and achieve uniform adhesion over the entire surface, including in corners.
