Pro tips

For façade projects in Belgium, Façade Resist delivers a decisive advantage: its application temperature from +2°C and rain resistance in 30 minutes allow you to maximise work windows, even in shoulder seasons. Check substrate moisture levels and weather forecasts for the hours following application to optimise initial drying.

For façades exposed to harsh weather or north-facing exposures, this 100% acrylic formulation with mould inhibitor represents a technically sound choice. Its V2 Medium permeability class ensures optimal balance between protection and breathability, essential for the durability of mineral substrates in our humid climate.

FAQ

What types of surfaces can I apply Façade Resist to?

This paint is designed for external mineral substrates: concrete, render, cement screed, masonry. Ensure the surface is clean, dry, sound and free of loose material before application.

What is the minimum temperature for applying this product?

Façade Resist can be applied from +2°C onwards, significantly extending possible application periods in Belgium, particularly in spring and autumn. Relative humidity must not exceed 80%.

How long must I wait before rain can occur after application?

The paint resists rain after just 30 minutes following application, rapidly securing the site. For complete drying and optimal adhesion, however, allow 6 hours before recoating.

What is the expected lifespan of this façade paint?

Under normal application and exposure conditions, Façade Resist offers durability of up to 15 years. Its 100% acrylic formulation and UV resistance guarantee excellent colour retention over time.

Does the paint allow the wall to breathe?

Yes, Façade Resist is vapour-permeable (V2 Medium class with Sd = 0.89 m per EN 7783) whilst being water-repellent. This combination allows the substrate to breathe whilst remaining protected against water ingress.
